We are a non-profit publishing organization with the full name CCS Publishing House, abbreviated as CCSPub. CCSPub currently publishes two academic journals, Journal of Research for Christianity in China(JRCC) and Journal of the Study on Religion and History(JSRH) and participates in the operation of one journal International, Journal of Sino-Western Studies (IJSWS). The journals we publish are all non-profit, with the primary aim of providing a high-quality academic platform for research in Chinese Christian studies, Chinese religious studies, and related fields. Our mission is to promote the continued development of Chinese Christian studies, Chinese religious studies, and related research through the publication of high-quality academic papers and reviews, and to actively engage in international academic dialogue.

CCSPub is committed to promoting research in Chinese Christian studies, Chinese religious studies, and related fields. By publishing high-quality, original academic papers and commentaries, we aim to enhance the level of academic research in these areas, expand China's academic influence, strengthen international academic dialogue, and provide the intellectual and documentary foundation for the development of new social theories. The journals operated by CCSPub are not limited to religious studies; we also welcome high-quality, original research related to culture, ideology, and philosophy.
The articles published in CCSPub cover a wide range of topics, from religious studies and history to social sciences and humanities. We believe in the power of interdisciplinary research and aim to bridge the gaps between different fields of study.
Our History
2006
The Christianity and China Research Center in Los Angeles has been established with the aim of promoting the study of Christianity in China through academic activities and facilitating dialogue and connections between Chinese Christian studies and the international academic community.
2013
Launched our first journal, Journal of Research for Christianity in China, which gained recognition in the academic community for its high-quality content.
2016
Expanded our portfolio with the launch of new journal, Joural of Study on Religion and History, reflecting our commitment to interdisciplinary research.
2019
Transitioned to an open-access model, making all our publications freely available online. This increased the visibility and impact of our authors' research worldwide.
2023
Reached a milestone of publishing over 100 research articles across our journal portfolio with using the updated OJS platform and expanded our international presence with authors and readers from different countries.
2025
Officially registered as a nonprofit publishing center (CCS Publishing House, Inc.) in the United States. It currently publishes two academic journals, Journal of Research for Christianity in China(JRCC) and Journal of the Study on Religion and History(JSRH).

Our Activities
CCSPub is dedicated to establishing a high-level platform for academic publication and exchange among young scholars. In addition to publishing journals, monographs, and conference proceedings, CCSPub collaborates with various universities and research institutions to organize diverse academic events, including major international conferences, forums, workshops, as well as lectures and seminars. Regular events include: the Christianity and Chinese Modernization Conference Series (annual), the JRCC Annual Conference (annual), the JRCC Scholarship Workshop (annual), and others.
